The Lyme Regis Powerboat Committee

Founded in Lyme Regis on Monmouth beach in 1961, Lyme Regis Power Boat Club (LRPBC) is a members club for those who love being on the water.

We are a community of water skiers, wake boarders, kayakers, fisherman, divers and general boat enthusiasts that enjoy the stunning surroundings of the Jurassic coast.

We are friendly club, welcoming individuals and families to enjoy the facilities including a members bar, showers, toilets and a beautiful balcony overlooking the stunning coastline of Monmouth beach.

As a group we enjoy social events throughout the year, with discos, live music and children’s party’s. We have our fully equipped clubhouse which has a extensive range of draught beers, spirits and non alcoholic drinks for all to enjoy.

LRPBC is open every Friday to Sunday from Easter until October.

We also have our own little kitchen that on special occasions will open up serving delicious breakfast, hot food and light snacks during the season please look at the up and coming events.

The LRPBC has a strong connection with the British Water Ski Racing federation. Some of our members compete at regional, national and international level, in the men, ladies, senior and children categories. The club is regular host of a national ski race, bringing sports people, big engines and beautiful race boats to Lyme, it is a spectacle worth watching! Many of our members are involved on and off the water.

In the Community

LRPBC has always had a strong connection within the community. We support many local charities, including the Carnival Club, RNLI and Candles on the Cobb.

Our members get involved with bucket collections, providing free boat rides, auctions, raffles and we host huge fundraising nights in the Clubhouse. The LRPBC has raised thousands of pounds for charity in its 50 years.
